bebebluej at least we agree
bebebluej at least we agree on one thing. White -hospitals, towels etc. creep me out too. RE; Atlanta. I served in USARMY as a nurse and was stationed in Augusta Ga. I am of latina heritage. My husband half Italian and inherited his Italian grandafather's blonde hair and blue eyes, light skin. When we went to town of Augusta, the waitstaff would tell me-i don't understand you. Naive I was, I thought they didn't understand my NYC accent. But my husband spoke with a Spanish accent and was not fully fluent at the time. Ditto for Atlanta. Racism in the south is alive still. Have so many experiences there i can write memoir. Yes, it is all over. More so where i currently live.
If you are fair skinned as my ex-husband, blue eyes, blonde you will be accepted. But if you have a latino surname and go to Drs. etc. will things are different. Happens to me here majority of the time. That is life. Bruno Mars has relatives in NY. Most homes are in NY State not the City. Condos, town homes, 6 million dollar or more apartments is what NYC is about. -poor kim kardashian was peeked because she couldnt afford the ten million condo she wanted. Poor thing. NYC is my home and I cannot afford to live where I was born. Not in the same neighborhood. Poor Kim had to do with a condo 7million plus.
--Just example of the outrageous cost of living in NYC.
But Bruno can afford to get something there. Maybe he will.
Indeed Bruno Mars' home is
Indeed Bruno Mars' home is beautiful! White may be soothing to him. Laurel Canyon is beautiful too. And the views awesome. Just wanted to clarify that. My other comments are just my preferences. And insecurities . Most folks from NYC and other big cities have same fears I do re: windows with no screens , drapes etc. I know a grown man who couldn't sleep for a long time when visiting his parents new home with windows allowing anyone to peer into. Even with security.
And I do think he owns another home? The one I saw posted on other fan sites.
Saw some pix a few days ago..
Saw some pix a few days ago....WOW! What a beautiful house! Laurel Canyon was one of my favorite places in L.A. when I lived there. All those floor 2 ceiling windows! What a dream!!!! Congrats on a wonderful choice to Bruno!
I'm sure he'll add more
I'm sure he'll add more chairs to the kitchen table. Can't imagine a kitchen table w/ only two chairs.
@JaunitaMia I disagree on
@JuanitaMia I disagree on your comment about Atlanta. It looks diverse to me... it just depends on the area you visit. For example Houston, it is very diverse and the crime rate is fairly well. Depending on the location, Houston is just diverse as Cali and Atlanta.
Additionally, I agree about hospitals...They creep me out since it's all white. My parents are RNs sooo.... yeah. I can't stand white towels either... they get dirty easily too!
A magnificent home. I read he
A magnificent home. I read he paid 2million more for that home. Previous owners paid 2 million less in 2009. He may have been willing to pay more for the magnificent view. Article says the entire city LA? can be viewed.
Only 3 bedrooms. More like a bachelor pad. Or couple with one child. Starter home? Didn't he own another home before this one?
One thing I do not like. The stark all white home. Love the blue couches But after having worked as nurse many years when white was the only colors in hospitals, to this day I cannot buy white towels, sheets, etc. white walls no way. Reminds me of sick and dying people. Now that I am doing part time nursing again. Not much changes in rooms for the average patients. Still white sheets. etc.
Bruno Mars comes across as a warm person and I thought I'd see warm colors in his place. I love soothing areas-with soothing colors and a meditating area with healing colors.
Guess he loves white. I noticed the kitchen has a table for 2. That may be for a couple? hint hint. Think I saw a dining area?
All those windows with those beautiful views are amazing. But being from NYC orignally and even where I live presently, I wouldn't be able to sleep without drapes, or shutters, afraid of burglars, etc. And privacy especially in that beautiful bathroom, exercise area.
And I dont think Bruno Mars would buy a home, nor live in Atlanta. The crime rate is very high. And not diverse. I sure know that.
You have premonitions like me
You have premonitions like me! I know how you feel. I just wish you'd believe me... but I doubt you do now..no one ever does... I'm just a Native Texan living a normal life... at least trying to with all these rumors going around bc it really bugs me. AND Yeah, I know you know I worry about you too :/
I wonder if Bruno Mars will
I wonder if Bruno Mars will buy a house in NYC, Chicago, Atlanta, or even Houston. As you know Houston is a very multicultural city along with many others ;) If I were Bruno Mars, I would keep that house and wait a few years and then sell it again for profit.. but that's just me. I am an investor in investing on others as long as they aren't as risky as the stock market nowadays ;)
Yup...I"m so happy for Bruno.
Yup...I"m so happy for Bruno. He made a good investment. That Mansion looks Magnificent :)
Yeah I read yesterday, isn't
Yeah I read yesterday, isn't that awesome. He finally got some new digs.
