The much awaited Chapter 9!!! The Girl He Couldn't Forget!!!

I missed her so much,I wish she would just get it over with and break up with him,"Phil? Why do you think she's doing this?",I asked. "What do you mean?",Phil asked. "Why do you think Katie won't break up with her boyfriend?",I asked. "I don't know man,girls are hard to figure out.",he said. "Do you think it's cause she doesn't love me?",I asked. "Are you serious?! Have you seen the way she looks at you? And when you talk to her it's like you two are the only people in the world. I was talking to her when we were in Vegas and I asked her about you and she spent like thirty minutes just talking about your smile!",he said. I smiled,"She did?",I asked. "Yes,she's completely in love with you. Don't ever think that she doesn't love you,cause she does. More then I've ever seen a girl love someone.",he said.

I got an idea,I picked up my phone and called Bruno. "Hey can you come over?",I asked. "Uh yeah sure,it'll be a while though. Me,Ari,and Phil are in the studio,is ten ok?",he asked. "Yep,that'll be perfect.",I said. "So what do you need me for?",he asked. "Well I have an idea,Chris saw a picture of me and you in Vegas and he said he doesn't want to see us together again or he'll break up with me. I'm ready to get it over with,I don't want to be with him anymore.",I said. "Ok,but baby please don't feel forced to do this. If you don't want to do this yet,I understand.",he said. "No,I want to do this. I feel really bad about us having to hide our relationship because of me.",I said. "Ok,but only if your positive,if you need some time to think or you want us to take a break just tell me.",he said. "No,I don't. I want to be with you,I just want Chris to be out of my life forever.",I said. "Bruno! Get yo a*s over here!",someone in the background yelled. "I gotta go,see you at ten.",Bruno said. "Ok,love you.",I said. "Love you too.",Bruno said.

 

-Bruno-

 

"Who was that?",Phil asked. "Katie.",I said. "What did she want?",Ari asked. "She wanted me to come over when we're done here.",I said. Phil and Ari looked at me,"What?",I asked. They laughed,"She wants you to "Come over"?",Phil asked. I rolled my eyes,"You guys can be so immature some times!",I said. "Hey man,you're the most immature out of all of us but that girl's changing you.",Ari said. "No she isn't!",I yelled. "Woah calm down,you need to go take a nap or something. Don't take things so hard.",Phil said. "Whatever. F*ck it,I'm leaving.",I said. I went outside and lit a cigarette,I looked at my watch,it was only eight forty five. I walked around for a few minutes and tried to keep myself warm,it was like f*cking negative fifty degrees. I hate cold,being from Hawaii and all I just can't stand it. I sat down on the pavement,a few minutes later I heard something click in the bushes. What the h*ll?,I got up and walked over to them. I shoved my hand in them and felt around,someone yelped. "Who's in there?",I asked angrily. Someone stood up and ran away as fast as they could,as they were running away the dropped something. I jumped over the bushes and went to see what it was,there was a camera laying on the ground. I picked it up and looked through the pictures,they were all of celebrities. I smiled,that had obviously been an amuture paparazzi,a professional wouldn't have left their camera so easily. I walked back over to the parking lot,I put my cigarette on the ground and stepped on it. I took one last look at the camera then I threw it against the side of the building as hard as I could and watched it break into a million pieces.

I looked at my phone,it was only nine. I didn't know if I could wait another hour for Bruno,I missed him too much,I couldn't handle it. I picked up my phone and called him.

 

-Bruno-

 

I heard my phone ring but I didn't bother looking at it,probably just Phil or Ari. Instead I looked for something else to smash. I found a flower pot by the door,I picked it up and threw it against the ground. I watched it shatter and felt a little bit better. I picked up another flower pot and was about to throw it when I felt someone grab it out of my hands,"What are you doing?!",Phil yelled. "Leave me alone!!",I screamed. I jumped in my car and drove to the nearest bar,then I drank my pain(and everything else)away.

 

-Katie-

(An hour and thirty minutes later)

Where was Bruno? I tried calling him again but he wouldn't answer and after a while I just gave up and went to bed.

(the next day)

I woke up to the sound of my phone ringing,it was Phil. "Hey. What's up?",I asked. "Come get Bruno.",he said sounding really mad. "Are you ok Phil? What's wrong?",I asked. "Nothing,just come get him. We're at the studio,I'm leaving in a few minutes and I don't give a f*ck if you come or not but I thought you wouldn't want him to be alone.",he said. "Uh ok,I'll be there in a sec.",I said. But Phil had already hung up. I drove to the studio as fast as I could,when I got there I went inside and started looking for Bruno or Phil. "Hello?",I asked. When I got close to one of the recording booths the smell of alcohol was really strong. I opened the door and walked in,Bruno was sprawled out on the couch and Phil and Ari were standing by a piano working on a new song I guess. "Get him out of here.",Phil said not even turning around to look at me. "Hey,f*cking turn around!",I said. "You better not be talking to me b*tch!",Phil said. I slapped him,"I don't know what happened between you two but you can just stop with the sh*tty attitude right now.",I said. I put Bruno's arm around my shoulders and walked out,I shoved him in the front seat of my car and buckled him in,he smelled so awful. I got in and rolled all the windows down,Bruno said something but I couldn't understand what it was,it was just a bunch of slurred words and sounds. I took Bruno inside and layed him down on my bed,he sat up and puked all over the bed.

 

-Bruno-

(the next morning)

I woke up in Katie's bed,and I had the worst headache. I walked into the living room,she was laying on the couch asleep. I walked over to the couch and sat on her legs,she opened her eyes and stared at me,"Get off.",she said. I layed down on top of her,"Babe what's wrong?",I asked. "You didn't come last night.",she said. "What? Come where?,I asked. "Here. I was going to end it with Chris and you were suppost to help me but you went out and got wasted instead.",she said. "Babe I'm sorry,I got in a fight with Phil and I was having a really bad night.",I said. "So that gives you the right to bail on me?",she asked. I tried to kiss her but she pushed me away,"Go take a shower. You smell awful.",she said. I frowned and stood up,"Baby I'm sorry,maybe we can do it today? What time does he get home from work?",I asked. "No. I don't want to do it anymore,I need time to think.",she said. "What?! Are you really going to make this big of a deal about it?!",I said. "Yes Bruno,I am. You want me to break up with him and I finally decide to do it and you mess everything up! You can't just get drunk and expect everything to be ok after that!",she said. "...F*ck it. I don't need this and I don't need you.",I said.

 

-Katie-

 

Bruno picked up his stuff and left. I didn't know what to do,or how to feel. I was so mad at him but I didn't want him to go,I wanted him to stay right here beside me. I started crying,I was so stupid. I thought he was different,I thought he would be the kind of guy that would stay beside me no matter what. I thought he would fight to keep me and do everything he could to fix things between us when things got tough.

 

-Bruno-

 

I needed to write a song about a beautiful relationship gone wrong,I needed to feel my fingers flying down the strings of a guitar,I needed to bang on a drum set so hard I would have to be worried about breaking it. I needed music.

 

-Katie-

 

I needed to go somewhere far away,I wanted to get on a plane and leave. But I couldn't. I wasn't going to let myself run away from my problems,I needed to stay here and deal with things. I needed to end it with Chris and fix things with Bruno.

 

-Phil-

 

I was still really mad at Bruno but I kinda felt bad for him,I heard that he got in a huge fight with Katie and he got kicked out. I kinda felt like it was my fault,maybe if I hadn't have called her this wouldn't have happened. I sighed,I had to do something. I wasn't just going to sit here and watch them throw what they had away,I had to make them realize how much they loved each other.

 

-Bruno-

 

I fumbled around in my pocket and pulled the key to the studio out,I unlocked the door and went inside. I threw my stuff down on the couch and picked up my drumsticks and sat down behind the drum set. I started drumming and slowly all my thoughts faded away until there was just one. Katie. And how much I loved her.

 

-Phil-

 

I knew where Bruno would be,the studio,that was where he always went when he had something on his mind. When I got there,the door was already unlocked. I smiled when I heard drumming,Bruno was so predictable. "What's good?",I asked. "Not much,me and Katie got in a fight.",he said. "Yeah,I heard. But I'm gonna help you cause I feel like it was partly my fault.",I said. He sighed,dropped his drumsticks,and turned toward me,"What are we gonna do?",he asked. I smiled,"I have a few ideas...."

 

-Katie-

 

Someone knocked on the door,"Come in!",I yelled. I heard someone walk in and I turned around,Bruno was standing there. I started to talk but Bruno stopped me,"Shhh don't say anything baby. I love you and I feel awful about what I did,come here. I over-reacted and I was acting stupid.",he said. As much as I wanted to stay strong and stand my ground I couldn't,he was so sweet and so beautiful and you could just see how sorry he was in his eyes. I ran over to him and gave him a hug,"I love you so much.",I said. "Go get all your stuff.",Bruno said. I went into my room and packed a bag with most of my stuff in it. "You ready?",Bruno asked. I nodded,he grabbed my hand,"Alright,let's go.",he said pulling me outside. "Wait!",I said. "What?",Bruno asked. "I have to do something.",I said running back inside. I found a piece of paper and pen,then I wrote Chris a note saying we were over. I put it on the table and ran back outside.

 

-Bruno-

 

I was so excited,but I was really nervous too. What if she didn't like it? What if she wanted to go back home? What would I do then? I tried to calm myself down,she would know something was up if I was sweating and breathing fast. I took a deep breath,"Ok here we go.",I said to myself.

 

-Katie-

 

We got on a plane,I asked Bruno where we were going but he just said "somewhere special". I was a little worried but I trusted Bruno so I just went with it. A few hours later our flight landed,I walked down the ramp holding Bruno's hand,he had the biggest smile on his face. I stepped off the end of the ramp and instead of being in a crowded airport I was on a beautiful beach.
