15. I'm Off To Heaven. 

Bruno got up ‘Alissa I..’ I interrupt. ‘Don’t.’ I say. ‘Have fun Joelle.’ I say to her, I grab my keys of the table and speed out the door.

Bruno’s Mind @ Phil’s place 12.03 AM

‘Go after her man!’ Ray says. ‘No, It’ll make things worse.’ I say clenching my jaw. ‘He is right’ Joelle said. ‘Alissa is extra vulnerable cause of the medication she is taking too.. Bruno I’m sorry…’ she said again. ‘Don’t be..I just..I can’t even..’ I sigh. I have no words. My mind is just blank. It feels like I lost her. Phil got up. ‘You both had a rough past.’ He sniffed. Joelle looked up. ‘She was being light about it…there were people in the room she didn’t know well.’ Kenji swallowed. ‘Light?’ Joelle sighed. ‘I don’t know if I can tell. But let’s just say that Alissa almost sacrificed her life for me.’  I looked up ‘What?’ she sighed. ‘It’s too complicated. She needs to tell you herself. This all, it’s gonna be over. She is just hopping back and forth with her mind in the future and past. She is too afraid to let go her fears. She doesn’t know what love and trust feels like. It’s all so new to her. Being with you is the first time she felt something again. It’s just hard for her.’ I sighed. ‘I could never relate to her on a 100% and I try my best. Fuck this, I’m going to your apartment. I’m out.’ I said. I grabbed my jacket and my keys and headed out to Alissa.

Alissa’s Mind @ Home 12.32 AM

I took a shower, I was in my PJ’s and I sat down on the couch. I turned on the tv to distract myself, but distracting myself was impossible. Bruno knows almost everything now. And so does the rest.. Why couldn’t I just talk to him in private? I guess it was just the heat of the moment. I feel alone, I don’t like that. My head was hurting of all my thoughts swirling around. I miss Bruno already, I was so stupid. He was so hurt. I just don’t know, I’m confused. I closed my eyes and tried to rethink what happened. And the more I thought of what I did, the more I started to hate myself. The doorbell rang. My eyes flew open and I got up. My head hurt with every step I took. I opened the door. Bruno.

He just looked at me, his eyes were speaking to me again. The hurt in his eyes, I did that. He looked at me. ‘I’m so..sorry’ he said. His voice even cracked while saying it. ‘I should’ve trusted you more.’ I said looking down. ‘Don’t look down..’ he said. ‘Just look at me.’  I kept looking down, I didn’t want to see him, I didn’t want to look him in his eyes and see what I have done. ‘Please baby..’ he whispered. He came closer, he gently touched my cheek. He pulled me close to him and we just stood there, hugging not saying anything. He was holding me so tight. His arms were around me and mine were around him. ‘I would never hurt you in any way..’ he said whispering in my ear. ‘I trust you’ I said. ‘I just…it was all so overwhelming.’ He let me go looking at me still having his hands on my hips. ‘I understand.’ I smiled at him and he immediately smiled back. ‘Were you ever happy’ he suddenly asks. ‘ever..’ he says again.  ‘No..only with you’ I answered HONEST. He smiled like an idiot. ‘I Love You’ I said and buried my face in his chest. ‘I love you too…so much.’ He said. I let go of him took his hand and dragged him to the living room. He sat down and so did I, I snuggled up to him and we were almost laying down. ‘Never make me feel like I’m losing you ever again..’ he said in my hair kissing my forehead and stroking my cheek.  ‘I’m too weak for ever letting you go Bruno..’ I answered. He sighed and rubbed my thigh softly. ‘You are the strongest woman I know.’ Those words touched me, I know Bruno would never lie to me but he would keep stuff from me, still he wouldn’t lie to me though. I find myself weak and useless. He wrapped his arms around me tightly. I looked at him and kissed his lips intensely. I never kissed him with such hunger and passion. He frowned while kissing and ‘attacked’ back with more kisses. He lifted me and got on top of me. He was putting all of his weight on his arms that were placed above of my head. He kissed my neck and started sucking on my shoulder blade. I slight moan slipped out of me. He kissed me again and smiled on my lips. He was breathing heavy and so did I. ‘That was nice’ he said smiling. ‘It’s not over yet’ I say. I get up and drag him to my bedroom..

Bruno’s Mind 00.03 AM @ Alissa’s bedroom

It’s crazy, at one moment we’re almost breaking up and at another moment she is trying to get me in bed. I don’t mind. She is too sexy, and I actually love her. I actually couldn’t wait until this day happened. For once it’s not me trying to get someone in my bed. I let myself fall onto the bed and she got on top of me, we were kissing passionately as I got on top of her. This time I let her carry my weight. I softly bit her lip, she was getting her hands through my hair. This feeling was amazing. I have never actually kissed someone with so much passion, with so much love and feeling. I pulled up her shirt and took it off for her, I threw it somewhere on the ground. I kept kissing her and kissing her all the way to her belly button and then I went up again. Sometimes she moaned, that made me wanna get in her even more. That beautiful soft sound slipping out of her, wow.  I kissed her on her lips one more time. ‘Are you sure?’ she nodded and smiled at me. I smiled at her too. I took of my shirt and kissed her down to her belly again. I looked up at her and she looked at me smiling. I smiled back and took of her sweat pants(shorts). She is so sexy, but then the unexpected happened. She got on top of me and kissed me softly. I put my arms around her as she tried to undo my pants. It went on like that for a while and our clothes were everywhere. I loved the fact that there was no awkward between us..being naked. I have to be honest she was not the only one that was moaning. The way she handles me is just genius. We stopped kissing as I got on top of her. I was on the right spot. Here we go, I’m off to heaven.

I woke up. Alissa’s head was resting on my chest. I smiled at her. She looked so peaceful, asleep like an angel. I removed her hair from her face and kissed her forehead. Last night was amazing. I am still in a kind of trance. I smiled at the thoughts. I can’t do anything but smile lately. I checked my phone. 3 missed calls. One from Jam, one from Eric and one from Kenji. They probably wanted to know how it all went. Well, let’s say it went great, more than that actually. I looked at the time. 11.23 AM. Thank god Alissa isn’t an early riser. Just like me, two lazy ass fuckers. I looked back at Alissa. Still asleep. I don’t want to wake her up. I sighed and closed my eyes again. Suddenly I felt lips on my cheek, I opened my eyes and saw Alissa smiling at me. I smiled back. ‘ Hey beauty’  I said. ‘ Pshh, don’t lie. I look horrible in the morning.’  She said laughing laying back on my chest again. ‘You don’t.’  I said. I was wearing my boxers and she was wearing her bra and her panties unfortunately. The duvet was covering us from head to toe. ‘ I Love you’  she said while making circles with her finger on my chest. ‘I Love you too baby.’  I said. ‘So what’s the plan for today?’  I asked. ‘Well, today my friend is flying out from Hawaii, she is going to live in L.A, I’m planning to show her around and hang with her for a while.’  She said smiling. ‘What’s her name?’  I asked. ‘ Dionne, she is the sweetest thing on earth..well after you then.’  She smiled at me and I gave her my goofy smile back. ‘We worked together at this karaoke place in Honolulu. I frowned. ‘What was it called?’  she sighed. ‘Uhmm, Karaoke Dokee Hawaii.’  She said. My eyes widened. That’s the place I used to perform at almost every single night to make some money so I could fly over to L.A and live out my dream. ‘..Are you sure we haven’t met earlier in life?’  I asked. She laughed like I was stupid. ‘No!’  she said. ‘I used to perform there almost every single night to make some money.’  Alissa looked at me. ‘ …well I wouldn’t know..I wasn’t a waitress I was a Cook, but Dionne on the other hand may recognize you..’  I was still a little in shock that we were so close before we even met, but Alissa seems to take it very well. ‘ ..Wait..WE WERE THAT CLOSE!?’  I burst out laughing. ‘ YES IDIOT’   I said still laughing. ‘woah.’  She said. ‘creepy.’  She said. ‘Don’t you and Eric have that appointment with the head of Atlantic Records?’  My eyes widened. ‘FUCK!’  I yelled. She immediately got up. ‘WHAT TIME WAS YOUR APPOINTMENT!?’ I got up and got my clothes together. ’12.’  I said. ‘YOU HAVE A HALF HOUR.’ She yelled. ‘I’M HURRYING!’

I walked in the Atlantic Records building. 1 to 12. Saved. ‘BRO WHERE THE FUCK WERE YOU!?’ Eric said, he walked up to me and looked at me crazed. ‘Hey, I’m on time. So don’t be a bitch.’ I said. Eric sighed. ‘Is everything alright with you and Alissa?’ he asked. ‘If it wasn’t would I be here?’ He sighed. He knew I wouldn’t be. ‘Mr Hernandez and … Mr Hernandez, please go down the hall to your left, Mrs Jane will be waiting for you there’ The secretary said.  ‘Mrs?’ I asked Eric. ‘Yeah, It’s a chick. Let’s go, and..think twice before you say something..or no..think about it at least 4 times before you say it!’ Eric said. ‘I love the way you trust me bro!’ I said laughing. We both walked to the end of the hall and knocked on the door that was on our left. ‘Yes come in!’ I looked at Eric. ‘Sexy voice.’ I said. ‘You have a girlfriend.’ He shortly said to me. ‘That doesn’t mean I can’t find other women sexy, well..no one is as sexy as my woman but..you know’ Eric had his goofy smile on. I don’t know why but he was grinning like an idiot. I opened the door. Mrs Jane had long blond hair and tough cheekbones, she was wearing a black skirt with a black Jacket and a white blouse. Of course the high heels were included. She was young I bet she was somewhere in her mid twenties. She was pretty hot. ‘Hi I’m Bruno’ I said smiling and shook her hand. ‘I’m Eric’ he said and shook her hand as well. ‘Sit down guys’ she said smiling. We awkwardly sat down and waited for her to say something, but she just kept staring at me like I was the Mona Lisa or something. ‘Uhm..Is there something on my face?’ I said. Eric kicked me softly under the table and mouthed. ‘I said think idiot’ through his teeth. ‘No..it’s your face itself…fascinating..so beautiful.’ She said. ‘..Thanks.’ I said smiling, Eric kicked me again. ‘YOU! Thank..you.’ She laughed. This was getting pretty creepy I thought she was going to ask me some questions, she probably will but I thought she was going to do it as soon as possible so we could you know..leave. ‘So Bruno, what does music mean to you.’ Is she kidding me? This was fucking easy. ‘Everything.’ I answered. She frowned. ‘Music got me through. It has helped me say things I couldn’t say in words, so I said it in melody’s. And I can’t do nothing else than Music.’ I smiled. She smiled back. ‘Do you play instruments.’ ‘Yes I do, The Guitar, Piano, Drums and a little bit of the harmonica.’ She smiled even wider. ‘That’s amazing! Do you write songs?’ I sighed. ‘That’s what I do.’ I said. ‘I have a little production team called The Smeezingtons. But I want to focus on myself for a while and that’s why I am trying to get signed.’ She looked at me like she was thinking. ‘I listened to your Demo and you have a lot of talent.’ I smiled ‘Why thank you!’ She laughed. ‘I am so excited to work with you!’ Eric smiled. ‘So you want him on your label?’ She smiled. ‘I think I do, I like you kid, I really do.’ She had a sexual touch to the look she gave me. I need to watch out for this lady…

Alissa’s Mind 1.32 PM @ Her apartment.

Joelle still hasn’t got home. She did text me saying everything was okay and that I shouldn’t worry about anything. I really think she may have done the same thing I did last night. I have never made actual love to anyone. I sighed. I was already dolled up for Dionne’s arrival. We would go out to lunch later. She is supposed to meet me here. I was drinking hot coco and when I heard the doorbell I almost dropped it. I put the hot coco on the kitchen table and walked up to the door. I opened it and saw Dionne. ‘OH MY GOD!’ She yelled ‘YOU CHANGED SO MUCH!’ She yelled. ‘DIONNE! SWEET BABY JESUS, YOU DID TOO!’ We hugged each other tightly and we actually couldn’t let go. ‘I MISSED YOU SO MUCH!’ I said. ‘I missed you too!’ We let go and looked at each other laughing. ‘Let me take a look at your apartment chick.’ She said. ‘Okay, but after that were going out to lunch’ She smiled. ‘Good I’m starving!’ Oh..my bedroom. Thank god I cleaned up a little bit or I would have to hear thousands of questions about what happened from her. She walked in Joelle’s room. ‘Wauw…pretty..’ she said looking around. ‘..Wait..where is Joelle?’ She asked. ‘With her boyfriend.’ I said. ‘WHAT!?’ I laughed. ‘I will explain everything at lunch.’ I said. She walked in to my room and looked around searching for something. ‘..since when do you wear boys clothes and fedora’s..’ she said. I tried to hide my facial expression from her. ‘…You..FUCKING BITCH, ARE YOU DATING SOMEONE!?’ she said excited.

‘This bitch kind of is..I am going to explain everything to you, I promise, but we have to go now.’

I grabbed my keys and we walked out. The whole ride Dionne was asking me questions, how did he look, what did he smell like, even what his shoe size was! I didn’t know what his shoe size was. All those weird questions I didn’t even know what to say when she asked me if his tongue was soft. This girl is so fucking random, but I love her so much. She was always there for me, and she still is.

‘So..he is the one..that..got you in the hospital with Joelle..but you still love him.’ I sighed. ‘..I sound stupid don’t I?’ She sighed. ‘It sounds like the romance that only happens in movies.’ I smiled a little ‘It does sound unreal, but..he is everything to me..he treats me so well..’ I said. ‘..Your eyes sparkle when you talk about him you know, I can just feel the love.’ She said smiling. ‘There is just one thing..’ Dionne said. ‘What?’ ‘You forgive to easily. If you keep forgiving him like it is nothing he is going to do it all the time because he will know you are weak like that..even though he loves you..’ I sighed. ‘Alissa, I have seen what love did to you when you were dating Daniel, that just wasn’t good. I don’t want that to happen with you again understand?’ I looked into Dionne’s eyes. She was giving me a caring and loving glare. No one has ever been so protective of me like Dionne has. ‘You’re right..I have to stick up for myself.’ She sighed. ‘Well, enough of this..his name is Bruno I mean..Peter but I will call him Bruno, I should recognize him cause he played at Karaoke Dokee Hawaii. And let’s not forget the fact you have been in the hospital…WHY HAVEN’T YOU CALLED ME!?’ I sighed. ‘I didn’t want to..’ ‘Worry me?’ she interrupted me. ‘Alissa, If anything did happen to you and I had to find out the wrong way, that would be just..cruel for me.’ ‘S..’ ‘AND DON’T SAY SORRY!’ We were quiet but then we started laughing. ‘I am saying this because…’ ‘you love me I know’ I said. We both laughed again. My phone rang and I looked at Dionne. ‘ANSWER IT, I BET IT’S BRUNO, PUT IT ON SPEAKER’ I glared at her. ‘Jeez woman.’ I said and grabbed my phone. ‘And who is it!?’ she asked hyper. ‘Bruno’ I said smiling. I answered it and put it on speaker. ‘Hey baby!’ he said excited. ‘W..ARE YOU SIGNED!?’ I yelled. ‘Alissa, that doesn’t happen that fast’ he said calming me down. Dionne laughed at me saying ‘He sounds hot.’ I laughed. ‘But she likes me so that’s good!’ ‘In what way’ I immediately said. He laughed. ‘Don’t worry baby, you’re my only one.’ Dionne swooned. ‘Keeper!’ she mouthed. ‘How is everything going with Dionne?’ He asked. ‘Amazing! We’re just talking. And having fun’ I smiled at Dionne. ‘Should I come over?’ ‘If you wanna sure’ I said. He laughed. ‘Okay baby, I’ll meet you at that place where we always have lunch right?’ He said. Dionne was smiling like an idiot. ‘Yes Indeed.’ I said. Oh god..I am starting to talk like him. ‘I’m bringing Eric’ he said. Dionne looked at me confused. ‘His brother’ I mouthed. She nodded understanding. ‘Okay baby, I’ll see you in a few, I love you’ ‘Love you bye!’ And we both hung up. ‘..That was the sweetest thing ever..He sounds so cute.’  She said smiling. I laughed. ‘The way he told you he loved you, awww!’ I chuckled. ‘You say awww to everything.’ I said. She smiled. ‘I do.’ A male waiter walked our way he had long dreds and a short beard. He seemed nice. ‘Hello ladies, can I take your order?’ I smiled at him ‘Yes uhm, two times number 40 please.’ Dionne smiled at him and I saw him smiling at her too. Oh god no, not another romance. He walked away. ‘..He has a nice ass.’ Dionne said winking at me. ‘I think you like him.’ I said. ‘DING DING DING DING!!’  She said excited. We laughed. ‘His name was Phredley..’ I raised an eyebrow. ‘How the hell do you know?’ I asked. She grinned at me ‘I was checking out his body and then I saw his nameplate pinned to his shirt. ‘Oh god, please don’t let him be one of your victims. He seems sweet.’ I said laughing. ‘I know I do’ I heard someone say. I immediately turned around and saw Eric and Bruno. ‘Yes, of course you are E of course you are.’ I said laughing. ‘Hey baby’ I heard Bruno say, he kissed me on my cheek and sat down next to me. Eric sat down next to Dionne. ‘Hi!’ Dionne said to the both of them. ‘Hello pretty’ Eric said smiling. ‘Hellooo’ Bruno said. ‘So how are you liking L.A?’ He asked. ‘It’s amazing! But I still have to get used to the fact that I’m not in my paradise.’ She said. I smiled. ‘What paradise?’ Eric asked. ‘Hawaii.’ She said laughing. ‘DUH TO THE HUH BRO.’ Bruno said mocking Eric. We laughed. ‘Tell them about Mrs. Jane’ Eric said laughing. ‘Who?’ Dionne asked. ‘The head of ATL Records.’ Bruno said. ‘What’s with her’ I said laughing. ‘She wants Bruno, she kept giving him sexual looks, I bet she wants something in return for the contract.’ Eric said laughing. I frowned. If the bitch lays a finger on him she’s dead. ‘What now’ I said. Eric and Bruno laughed. Me and Dionne just looked at each other like two strangers came sitting with us. ‘Alissa, don’t worry. Like..please don’t. She’s just a puppet from the label, she isn’t the actual head of the company who decides everything, she was like in her mid twenties. If she gives the label a bad name she’s fired. So if she tries to get me into bed I’m gonna betray her like a little kid.’ I smiled. ‘The music industry is full of posers and puppets, You do what people want you to do, but I will turn every label down who doesn’t let me do me. They want me to pick a genre, I can’t pick one, I’m an all rounder. If I had a genre I would have been signed in no time. But I don’t, they don’t let me be myself, and music is about being yourself.’ Bruno sighed. ‘Wise words.’ Dionne said. ‘I can go deep.’ And with those words he looked at me. OH NO HE DID NOT. Eric snapped out of Bruno’s wise words and looked at him. ‘..you mean be not go..’ Bruno laughed. ‘mmm Hmmm’ he said still chuckling it off. ‘ Dionne looked at me wide eyed. ‘That explains the clothes.’ She said laughing. ‘OH MY GOD, JUST SHUT UP!’ I yelled. Eric. Bruno and Dionne started laughing at me. The waiter came back. ‘Here are your sandwiches.’ He said smiling at Dionne again. Bruno looked at Phredley with a strong impression on his face. ‘..Preesh?’ Eric eventually said. He looked up and looked at Eric and Bruno. ‘The fuck!?’ he yelled with excitement. Bruno and Eric got up. ‘Hey man!’ Bruno said. Eric just smiled and gave him the manly hug, Bruno did as well and Phredley grabbed a seat and sat with us at the table. ‘Wh..what are you doing back?’ Bruno said. ‘I thought you had to run for your life..’ Bruno said. ‘I did but..’ Eric interrupted Phredley. ‘..Is he dead?’ Phredley shook his head. ‘They locked him away after he raped his daughter.. They didn’t have any proof of the kill he did on the mom. It’s all so confusing but..I’m save.’ Phredley cleared his throat. Bruno looked down and I looked at Dionne immediately. She knew about it..about the rape.. could this be true? Could Phredley be talking about my father.. and if so..what did he do?
