Hi, I'm Lynn, probably one of the older "Hooligans" around here. I have six grown children and six grandchildren. I'm a nurse. The picture is one I took in New Orleans when I volunteered for Katrina in 2005. It's a church and a neighborhood perfectly reflected in the flood waters. The first Bruno Mars song I heard was "The Lazy Song". From there I was hooked! I have a copy of Doo Wops and Hooligans in my car, and one in the house. Sure, I find some of Bruno's lyrics to be um, shall we say, a bit shocking, but I have to remember that most of my kids are older than Bruno! Only two are younger. And they are both beautiful young ladies, 25 and 23. And no, Bruno can't date them unless we have a looong talk first! That said, keep up the good work Bruno!

Keep this in mind, my son... talent + good looks + youth + wealth + young girls throwing themselves at you + easy access to anything and everything = trouble, if you're not grounded and please don't take yourself too seriously. Fame is fleeting...as are good looks, wealth and talent. One brush with the law is enough. Everything in moderation. Keep your fly zipped. Call your mom and dad at least twice a week. Save your money. Enjoy your fame, but remember your roots. Pray every day.

Thanks and yeah, I hope he does come to NC. Even though he's working on his second album, I'm so excited!!! :) I would really like foe there to be like a Raleigh Metro area Bruno Meet or something. But I'm so busy between guitar lessons, soccer practice, dance practice, Emerging Young leaders program, and soon to be Martial Arts, Yeah, my parents keep me BUSY!!!
